Obedience Cloud is the platform our products run on: a London-region project database, Western Europe object storage, EEA runtime, database-enforced tenant isolation, encrypted restore-tested backups, and a security posture published in the open, not promised in a deck.

The platform
Quantity surveying runs on sensitive commercial data: contract sums, rates, disputes. The platform underneath it has one job, to be boringly, verifiably trustworthy.
The security posture is not a sales page, it is a published record: data locations, isolation, backups, and the certification roadmap, all stated honestly and linked to the policies that govern them.
QuantifyQS runs on this platform today, and AI Change Control lands next. One shared foundation means every product inherits the same location transparency, isolation and backup discipline on day one.
Fail-closed access control, least-privilege service roles, key-only server access, automatic security patching. The boring engineering that keeps promises when something goes wrong.
The architecture
Not a stack of features, a single path your data travels, drawn end to end: a request arrives at the edge over TLS, runs fail-closed, reads and writes structured records in London, and replicates to encrypted object backup in Western Europe. Follow it.
Every request arrives over TLS 1.3 through a global edge network with DDoS protection. Nothing reaches the platform unencrypted.
The application runtime enforces fail-closed access control: an unset secret or unreachable dependency denies access, it never falls open. QuantifyQS runs its serverless functions in London.
Structured customer project records live in Postgres in London with row-level security: tenant isolation is enforced by the database itself, so one practice cannot read another practice’s rows through an authorised application path.
Daily encrypted dumps to off-site object storage on a rolling 30-day cycle, with restore actually tested. A backup that has never been restored is a hope, not a backup.
The full technical and organisational measures are documented in the Security Overview and the Data Processing Agreement.
Trust, verifiable
The certification roadmap, honestly
No badge appears here before it is earned. Next: Cyber Essentials, then Cyber Essentials Plus, with ISO 27001 the longer-term ambition.
Running on the platform
AI-assisted, NRM2-native Bills of Quantities for UK quantity surveyors. Every workspace inherits the platform’s residency, isolation and backup guarantees automatically.
The next product on the platform: variations as diffs between versions, a live budget, and a rolling final account. Same foundation, same guarantees, from the first deploy.
Tiers
During early access everything is included and free while we onboard hands-on. The tier structure below is published now so pricing is never a surprise; prices arrive with general availability, and existing practices hear first.
